We believe our scholars perform to their best abilities when they feel safe and loved.

Our leadership is constantly adapting to student and community needs, and we have dedicated team to support Social and Emotional Development.

As we navigate COVID-19, we are continuously updating our practices and safety policies to best protect our scholars.

Safe.

We are adapting our learning model to be as safe as possible during a global pandemic, while continuing an in-person learning model.

We know that no single mitigation strategy in isolation is perfect. To reduce risk as much as possible, we use a layered "swiss cheese" model.

Loved.

KCGPA understands the importance of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). KCGPA’s SEL team is comprised of our school counselor, school social worker, and multiple support specialists, under the guidance of our Director of Community Wellbeing and Dean of Culture.

Learning.

Our scholars are challenged and supported by our educators. They are encouraged to use their voice, and each subject is taught through a feminist, anti-racist lens. Check out our Day in the Life!
